Well the Conservative government have led us to down a river from which the UK will be poorer. As I have mentioned yesterday we do rely on the commodities market. So why do the UK government want to cut its ties with the EU ? Well the EU has a standard on Environment, Social and workers rights and the Conservatives wanted to change these standards. So the Conservative government wanted the EU to play the game and allow the UK to change the rules within the single market. But it was not allowed to do this. And we will not be allowed to take the edge even now.

The Conservatives will be happy but this blog is not in that state. It is an upset that the UK citizen will be worse off. All of the trade that the UK will be needing will be held up at the European border. Fresh food will spoil but then that does not matter. Trade will flow but not frictionless as there will be paper work to be filled out. It is a regret that the Conservatives want to sell the “cheap labour” of the British worker. But divergence will happen and the regulations will be changed. Because the UK will want to make money even though the British worker will be poorer.

China Joins The Space Race.

We have seen china land a robot spacecraft on the moon. All it done was collect moon dust. But it showed that the Chinese State can and will launch a manned mission to the moon and even beat the U.S to it. But the U.S landing on the moon as well. Will the nations keep apart ? The next question will be will the nations carve up the moon and keep troops on the moon ? Well that’s a possibility. The carve up would be serious and even a space war could take place. But in space there is always room. Meaning that a wide part of the moon can see both nations not seeing each other.

The planets are now being explored by other nations and the technology to get them there is getting easier. But the biggest nation with the biggest investment is still the U.S. How it see’s the other countries muscling in on the technology remains to be seen. But Star Wars I think is still far into the future. But if the Chinese can do it so can other nations. Like Iran for instance. Or North Korea. It spends a lot on arms it well may be soon able to launch a rocket into space. And why not Australia ? All countries can now do the space rocket and all countries have the scientists. Will the be a federation of space nations I wonder.
