With frightening speed the new variant of Coronavirus has caused many issues among countries that are still having the old variant. This means that the UK travel corridor is still open to some. Not much travel though has been undertaken due to the country being in lockdown. Coronavirus variant two is causing alarm as bodies are now mounting up. Travel is the last thing on the governments mind. And it is also the last thing on anyone’s mind as many people fall ill to the new variant. Many countries also do not want the new variant to be spread to their country.

Writing this finds most of the populations in a struggle to cope with the old variant. They are seeing many people fall ill to this themselves. In Sweden where they actually achieved control of this virus without a lockdown the first time. Now! they have had to impose a lockdown for the first time as cases shoot of the scale. And! this is the old variant not the new one. If they are struggling against this then it does mean that everything is going pear shaped for the winter. Even in the coldest parts of the world the pandemic in the winter is now taking off.

The Next Worry Is Jobs.

The economic damage to the economy to this virus has been seen after the first lockdown in the spring of last year. Now we are in another lockdown and one that is even more tougher than the first one. As there is no money moving around there will be vast consequences for the economy when we come out of lockdown. When ever that is. No should ever estimate how big the unemployment queue will be. Because of the lockdowns traders will be struggling to pay bills. And that means all business’s will have to make redundancies. And the long queue’s at the employment office will be long.

No one is safe unless you work in one of the jobs that is declared as essential. If you work in supermarkets, the NHS or if you work in local government then your job will be safe. Also safe are those that work in car sales. But those in call centre’s or in an office environment then there is very little likely hood your job will be safe. As these jobs are very easy to come by then they will be dispensed with. Cutting back in these jobs is very easy with local government jobs very hard to come by. Everyone will be affected by this and every other lockdown. Its just a matter of time.
