We knew things might be difficult after the u\k left the EU single market and Customs Union But! it was not explained how difficult. Markets are now slowing because of the paperwork. No one really wanted to tell the farmers and everyone else on how difficult. Sheep now have to have a vets certificate to ensure they do not have a disease that has been eradicated from the European Union. Even though we did warn those that voted for Brexit that this would happen. farmers though thought this was an opportunity not to be missed. And what they thought was going to happen never was agreed to.

And now even fisherman and the communities that rely on this industry have now found that Brexit is not the promised land. No fisherman can land their catch in the EU and the UK market do not want their catch. I have heard that many fishing communities are no suffering more than it was when we were part of the EU. Getting things to market now relies on the domestic market to take up the slack. If it can. Coastal communities will also feel the pain as the Foreign tourist will also be stopped from coming. Not the thing that the rural community thought it was.

Slow Vaccine Rollout.

You would think that now we have a Covid vaccine you would hope that all countries will get there vaccines rolled out quickly. But you are wrong. As you may have read on Wednesday in America they are slowly getting up to speed but vaccine has to be dumped because of the rate it is being rolled out. In the UK it is the same thing. The pace should be picking up. But! there are reports that vaccine is being dumped because the rate is being slow. It has to quicken. I do know the British army is going out of its way to speed up the delivery of the vaccine.

In France they have the EU rollout program. But this is a logistical nightmare. A number of large countries are huge and the EU has no military and that means some countries are not getting any deliveries at all. And this is not acceptable. All countries have to roll out the vaccine to be effective or we will still face a pandemic until next year at this rate. Vaccine has to be used for everyone with no waste. If they cannot get those that need it the most. Then there should be a backup list so that vaccine is not wasted. The wastage should not be happening!
