RedFox Blog: Terror Threat Reduction.

During the Coronavirus epidemic the terrorist threat has reduced. There has been no car bombings or other terror related incidents within the western world. But! we should not rest as we do know that the pandemic will come to an end and terror will return to our streets. But the Home Office has reduced the terror threat in the UK. But it does mean that the incident of another terror attack is still there and could well happen within the next twelve months. Police alert and public vigilance is called for. As our security forces come back to strength.

Terror threats across Europe is still high and “soft targets” can be spied upon while lockdown is in place. Sometimes the innocent person walking about having their daily walk does seem innocent but can be related to terror. Why would someone be walking around a closed shopping centre at around 8.30pm at night ? One wonders why they are there. In the middle of summer with a very footfall at that time of night is not suspect. The general public that is out there should also be vigilant. Our police cannot be there all the time to protect us.

Can We Book A Summer Break ? 7/3/21

At the moment the home office is telling everyone that it is not a good idea to book a holiday. But at the last week in June the restrictions will be totally lifted. This should mean that there should be no problems getting a booking for a summer break. But is this as straight forward as it seems. I bet you that it is not. Foreign holidays may actually be not allowed. But! a British summer break could well be on the cards. Everyone has had a lot of stress over the last twelve months with all these lockdowns and restrictions. And the holiday industry has also had a real bad time of it.

A Staycation is actually a better idea than a foreign because of the restrictions being lifted here. And if the continent is still struggling to vaccinate their population then restrictions in their country may not be lifted. And then disappointment sets in when the holiday is cancelled. There are many good holiday resorts in the UK that want custom. They are good places to got to as well. You can go to a forest or into the wilds of Cumbria. The lake district beckons. And I can bet that the place like this will be very busy with the native tourist. So! book early.
