Now even more tech is showing as perseverance dhows were she has landed. And we have the photos to prove it. Many exciting picture of what the lander is seeing. Soon we may even get video of the surface of mars. The hills of a crater near the lander is very clearly visible in the distance and this is the objective of this mission. Clearly everything is at the moment going very well indeed. There may be even more spectacular photos and videos to come. Lets hope so! The Rover will be soon moving closer to take a more in depth look.

This tech means that nothing can stand in our way of making space part of every day life unlike yesteryear when it took ages for a single rocket to be launched. We have learned so much and have come so far. In a short space of time we have flown to the moon. The we have created a reusable space vehicle and now we are landing on other planets. The next move is to land and live on the moon. The target date for this is 2024. A rocket is being prepared for the mission but not yet tested. First a space station above the moon and then a building on the surface. Exciting reality!

Spring Is In The Air! 11/3/21

The weather is starting at last to warm up. The days are getting longer and the buds of spring will soon be appearing. But! that does not mean that the weather will be dry. It is the most important part of the spring crop growing part of the year. Now more than ever we do need the rain. But on many years previous to this one it has been dry. I hope that does not happen again. We have had a very wet winter when we do not need it. But now we do and the betting is it will be dry. Crops need good growing weather to be able to produce a bumper harvest. But climate change has put paid to that.

Being able to produce the goods at the time of need is the important bit. But we have had a quite a few bad starts to the year and then the weather warms and we end up being very dry. However sometimes this can be very good in the respects that other crops can grow better in these conditions. But what crops to grow and when. Poor harvests produce less food and the quality of the produce goes down. It is time we took stock and review where we are and what direction we are going in. Because if that does not happen then the food we produce will gradually run dry. And that is not good!
