I knew that the world of business has been shaken up by Brexit. But now every Company and small business out there wants to make money but causes human misery. The money that a company makes is not always the big picture. If the employee is not happy then he/she will leave. And then another person fills the gap and then that person leaves. Struggling business will then fail and another business will take its place and that ends up handing back contracts. I understand the need for making a profit as if the company does not then the company will fail.

This will never gain a foothold and grow. All business at some point will have to increase their prices to make employees happy and then retain services. Cutting costs is fine but there is a point where a business will have to draw a line. Start ups will find it hard in a saturated market. I did work as a cleaner. But! anyone can start a business cleaning. But how much of a profit can it make ? A market can only have so much to handle because after that there would be no room or money worth going after. And then wages will eat up all the companies income.

By-Election 18/5/21

In the U.S these are called special elections and here in the UK they are called by-elections. These happen when someone dies, Resigns or just fails to turn up to any meetings. The seat then becomes vacant out of the normal election cycle. There have been two that needs to be contested. One in Chesham and Amersham which is Conservative. And one in Batley and Spen where the current MP stepped down after becoming the metro Mayor for West Yorkshire. In the Chesham by-election that seat has been held by the Conservatives for centauries. Batley and Spen has only been held by Labour since 1997.

It is the current thought that Chesham will be held by the Conservatives and Batley will change from Labour to the Conservatives like all other northern seats. This will be a bitter blow to the Labour party as the party right now is not in great shape in the Commons. Losing the hartlepool Constituency during the recent elections. Being caused by the then Labour MP having to step down because of a law suit against him. So! the battle will be on to convince voters in the areas concerned that one of them is the best person to represent that constituency
