I thought as I was on the discussion of wildlife then I should blog about how each and every government should be involved in conserving our natural world. At the moment as it stands all governments hardly support conservation projects in the world. This is a sad fact of life as wildlife is as important to us than is saving money. Ecology should I think should be a high priority as all Insects, Birds, bees and other animals give us our food and protection. However our legislators in which ever country you live in ignore this. Unless of course you live in some African countries.

Top of the ignorance list is the house in the above photo. Yup America. In the pursuit of financial gain and many of it citizens that live in cities wildlife is forgotten. Our food come from nature but to them it is put on your plate with no thought on how to conserve the wildlife population. It is just the federal government as some states might have nature conservation at the heart of their local politics. In the UK the national government is the one that leads the debate and legislates for nature. And yes they do have a government department to carry this out. The Environment Agency.

Actually when you look at Europe most of those countries do look after their natural world more than some other countries. Investment in nature can and does take place and surveys are carried out. In the UK we have sites of special scientific interest or SSSI and that protects the wildlife of the UK. And there are many charities involved in conservation. But! a lot more can be done by government. But as we debate wildlife is under threat from farmers and developers a like. So we need laws that are in forced and not let go because the finance is attractive.
