RedFox Blog: Elected!
Post 729 1/9/20
Something that always pops up and bites you in the back is politics and last week was no difference. The person that presently leads the Liberal Democrats is now officially leading the Liberal Democrats. He points out that he is a fresh pair of hands. Oh Really ? I mean he was in Nick Cleggs coalition government with the Conservatives so how can a person be a fresh pair of hands when he already ran the top team in a political party. Anyone with this has to question the idea of his election. Perhaps he is seen as the savior of the Liberal Democrats.
The party simply has no idea how it is to get into government. It has not done this in Modern political history. The Liberal Party of old last held power in 1870. Maybe this time will be different but then again! It has no real policies of its own just a jumble of old and new ideas for which many people just will not vote for. The sole of a political party is its policies and the liberal Democrats have no real idea on how to put these into practice. The activists are also willing to campaign against themselves so how can some vote for that?
Is Technology Going Too Far ?
When we have a smartphone in our hands we think it is the very edge of technology. But then comes along a new smartphone for which we will happily sell our old one for the new one. Its like computers. Sometimes the computer gets to a point where it gets worn out by the use of the equipment. But sometimes some one sees a ne computer come out and dumps the old one for a new one. However there are some people that do not use a computer at all. Although a very small amount it is now very difficult to do without one.
Now the computer geeks have come up with a new idea. How about computer lead farming. Yes I did say computer controlled farming. This should have been put on tomorrows blog but I think the age of technology is now going a slightly too far. Because I know we have to feed people but the farmer knows best how to get the best out of the fields. Would a computer ? The answer is no. We can rely on computers for almost everything but only if that computer is in human hands. There should be no competition. And what if there was a slip up. No food. I think we should now have a computer free ten years.
