There is something wrong with the British Weather as on Tuesday it was as hot as it was in August. This will throw our nature into chaos as the birds now will be migrating away for autumn. I said SHOULD be migrating. But in truth that could be put in danger because of the unusual weather patterns. They might not migrate because the weather is so warm. And the return of the summer heat may actually be more harmful to the migration patterns than we think.. I for one like to think that this will be only a little blip but then that might be a dream.

The near continent always produces heat until the very end of September and the beginning of October. And the jet stream is at the moment producing a very unusual pattern bringing the warm weather from the continent to our shores. The jet stream brings the winds from the west at this time of year but at the moment the winds are coming from the south. And soon the weather should be coming coming from the cold north but will this happen ? We all have to wait and see but the betting is that we may see more winds from the south continuing the warm weather.

Vaccine Concerns

The Oxford Vaccine which is getting near to completing trials had a very serious pause last week. These were highlighted because A person that was taking part in the Vaccine trials went to a Hospital feeling unwell. If I think this was a very serious and dangerous development then I would have though that the trials would come to an end and the vaccine being worked on scrapped. But there was just a pause but then the next day the pause was lifted and the trials restated. Being a new vaccine means that everyone is waiting for scientists to come up with something effective.

AS pressure mounts anything that is unusual could spell disaster for any resolution of the current pandemic. Usually the Oxford team does come up with something that is effective against diseases of this type. But caution can and must be paramount. Because if the vaccine shows it does work but then there some very serious side effects. Then the team could be sued by someone that may thing it right to bring to attention how dangerous this vaccine is. But clinical trials have begun again and there has been hundreds now vaccinated using this vaccine. So hopefully we shall have a vaccine in the early part of 2021.
