The trade Deal between the UK and the EU is going to fail to get to the bottom of the issues about Fishing rights in UK waters, State aid which in the UK there is none and a level playing field. Fishing rights have always been a sore point between the UK and the EU over the fishing of the diminishing stocks of fish in the North Sea. But the truth is that natural fish stocks in the north sea are dwindling and that the fishing fleets will not pick up any more fish now or in the future. State aid in the UK is a joke. The UK government does not give state aid to its companies so why the problem ?
And with the level playing field issue. Well! that will never be right as the Conservative Government wants to undercut business across the globe. So a level playing field would supposedly benefit British Business. It is a goal of this government to introduce a Singapore style business friendly policies so that British business can trade across the world undercutting others. Pure economic fantasy. Britain done more trade from being a member state of the EU than when we leave the transition period next year. And that will spell disaster for the UK economy.
Coronavirus Strike’s The President.
Well the current president of the United States of America has tested positive for Covid-19. This was always going to happen because he never took Coronavirus seriously enough. He never wore a mask even though he was encouraged to do so. And he always kept on shaking hands even though again he was advised not to do so. And on the election trail he packed the hustings event with those that never wore face masks. But that’s not where he caught it. He caught Covid-19 in the Rose Garden event when he introduced his nominee for the Federal High Court.
Even all the people that were there tested positive and are now self isolating. Even the campaign manager of trumps election attempt. He could be out of campaigning for some while. But the election clock still ticks down to day of election on November the 3rd. Donald trump could be the fourth one term president of the United States. But if he wins he may not be able to do anything because also congress also has elections. If both the Senate and the House become democratic controlled then the US president will be just that. A president in name only.
