The attacks between Armenia and Azerbaijan serve to illustrate the weakness of fragile peace that has ruled the globe since the end of the second world war. With the U.S now not interested in being the global police force it once was the vacuum that has now been filled by Russia. By the standards of the world the Russians will happily fill that role. A new world order is certainly coming and that order will be filled. The Conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is one of the many peace attempts made by the Russians the other being discussing peace with the Taliban.
Trumps administration has abandoned the world and has looked in on its self perhaps making the U.S a laughing Stock. And he points out that it is there to “Make America Great Again” Well it all points to make “Russia Great Again” The security of world peace used to be led by the U.S but global peace is now made by the Russians. Is this really the Trump legacy ? It is coming up to election time in the U.S and they seem to be blind on foreign policy and the world awaits to see if Biden ignores his foreign Policy and to see if Russia comes to the aid of more countries in distress.
No Winter break!
Well there seems to be a general resurgence of Coronavirus across the world. And that means the winter holiday is now well and truly off the visiting schedule. Even in the Southern hemisphere where it is coming into spring there is a resurgence of the Virus. So there will be a lot of Ski resorts going out of business due to the pandemic. And even if the ski resorts did beat the coronavirus that would mean no one really could go on a skiing holiday due to social distancing rules. You could see a massive out break because everyone after a session packed in a tavern having a great time.
It will be a disappointment to the many skiing fans that cluster the ski slopes hoping to be the next entrant in the skiing world cup. And we might see the postponement of the Australian Open in January. Most visitors are now not allowed into the country if they have symptoms of Covid-19. So it is not under control in any country and we could even see the cancelling of sporting events that take place in our winter which occur across the world. There is really no possibility of any sporting event avoiding this virus. Even in the middle east they have seen a second wave! So there is going to be no winter break from this virus.
