Writing this blog reminds me of one I wrote some years ago about Mental health. Recently I discussed this with someone who actually is a mental health professional and was very surprised. She said to me there is a strong link to exercise and mental health. If some one is on your back about the best way to beat the blues then the above picture is the best way of doing things. Many people who sit at home and do nothing really have no option than to go to the doctor and get anti- depressant’s. Because the body has is not using its natural anti depressant’s and that is why we have the blues.

I am very aware about the link between exercise and mental health but not on why the body goes so wrong. It is also linked to diet. Which again is very shocking. Many people who are depressed do tend to eat more and the cycle continues as this will continue the problems. Also I do know that if you sit in front of the T.V a lot then you will get anxious about what they say on it. And the T.V news broadcast 24/7 so you cannot escape. So! going to do some physical exercise is the best way to beat the blues. Perhaps a fifteen minute or going for a swim which will do you good!

And Now Nigeria

In the news comes more disturbance’s in another country. This time in Nigeria. You might wonder why Nigeria is a worrying place to have such a problem. Because Nigeria is a very big African holiday destination for many western countries including the UK. And this problem also threatens one of the petrochemical producers. The country has always has problems because the government there sees more than a large African country of the oil industry it should be rich. But wealth is distributed to the few richest people. It is unfortunate but there it is.

The government keeps the rich well payed while the rest of the population is poor in every way. It is not then unusual then that some times the population rises and armed aggression is likely. The government with its well oiled security forces keeps the poorest off t bay. Something that in Africa is endemic. And then there is corruption. And that to is done in a big way with barrels of oil sprouting legs and disappearing over night. And this corruption is growing and Nigeria with oil wealth is a big place for this to take place. And the demo’s is because the government in Nigeria is taking the wealth from this corruption.
