RedFox Blog: America At Crisis Point.
Post 787 19/1/21
At this point just 24 Hours before Joe Biden’s swearing in to become the 46th President of The United States it has become clear that America is at crisis point. There is no getting away from it. With the attack on the Capitol two weeks ago there has been a battalion of National guard troops based at the heart of American politics. The covid-19 crisis has also overshadowed the celebrations. The country is also in protest with black lives matter. There is nothing at this point that is not in crisis. Joe Biden will have his work cut out if he is to create a stable country.
Firstly there is Covid-19 and the roll out of the vaccine which is being slowed by the political crisis. Hospitals are being very slow in giving non insured people their vaccine. And this means that vaccine is either going to waste or is spoiling and having to be chucked away. Many are suffering from the out break and Joe Biden needs to administer this as soon as possible. And then the next thing on his agenda should be Black Lives Matter. This issue means that racism should be routed out of the law enforcement organizations. And then the threat of the of those that caused the insurrection. Oh what a start!
Forced!
If you are suffering from the unexpected fallout from the Coronavirus Pandemic. I mean everything is now online. You might think this is a good thing. But! people of my age are not so impressed. We did not get brought up with the technology. But now we have to learn quickly. But the technology now has got even more forceful. Have you ever had to download an app ? I have. And I do not want everything online. Ok bills are fine but now the banks are encouraging everyone to change their way. No cheque books are now being issued. And to transfer your money you have to now use internet banking.
Its ok if you are older and understand the technology to use this. But! when you deny the use of internet then this type of banking is way out. I agree attitudes have to change but if you are elderly and get mixed up then this type of technology can and does confuse. How do you expect those that do not use this technology to then wizz bang understand it ? Apps are very confusing for those that do not understand them and just to phase out cheque books is wrong. Sooner than later the older people will pass on and then the young will be able to use apps. And then withdraw cheque books.
