RedFox Blog: When Tech Embarrasses.

See the photo above ? well there has been an embarrassing scene on Zoom. A child changed the settings on a mans laptop and the next day he was due to appear before a magistrate. On came the picture but the man had no idea that the settings had changed and he appeared to the judge as a cat. The judge did see the funny side of it and told the person to change the setting back so that the picture was of the person and not the cat. But this can happen to anyone. If you have a zoom account and you can get in then all you have to do is to click on settings and Hey Presto!
This blog serves as a warning. Always check the settings on your computer if you have children. All children these days are very computer Savvy. And if they know your account details them they can wonder on and change them. Tech is not very complicated now to the many children in the world. Tech is all around them and they even learn it in their classes. Most of the older adults may not know how to change settings but children do. So all you have to do if you have children. Before a meeting just go into settings and make sure you do not looking like …..a cow.

A ford is simply put as a road and river crossing point. Normally the river is so low you take you car right across without knowing it was there. However with climate change this is becoming history. With the amounts of rainfall increasing fords are now becoming torrents of water. And that water is deep! I have been watching one particular ford near Nottinghamshire on Youtube. Vans and cars are the most that get stuck in the water. But lorries and tractors just sail through. And the road was very busy. And it kept the AA and the RAC busy all day with stranded cars.
But I would have thought the simple solution to the problem is to back up and find an alternative route around the ford. They must know that places like this would be deep water. And if they knew about it then they should pay the price of getting them out of the water. Car engines can fail and cut out leaving then stranded. So I thing they should be charged an extra fee for getting them out of the water. But then I am not in the position they are in. And I have not have had to abandon my car. Well not yet anyway! It seems to me as they are taking a chance because they cannot be bothered to use another route The thats why they should be charged for rescuing them.
