Watching my favourite YouTube Channel it was noted that one of my people on it had disappeared. Well I thought then I saw another video which gave the explanation. They had all left the UK to try and outwit lockdown. I have seen some disastrous ideas in my time but going to a country that have no restrictions is I think one of the own goals. Lockdown is there to keep everyone safe but to travel to a country that has no controls then you are asking for trouble. And the UK government Red List now provides a safe guard to those who want to avoid lockdowns.

One has traveled to a Southeast Asian country and is living a so called dream. But that dream will turn into a nightmare when he tries to get back into this country. If he runs out of money then where do you go ? Or if you break the law whilst out in this country then how do you return ? Red List Countries are there to protect the population. But staying in another country does bring up all sorts of questions once the money runs dry. And the rules will not change until the country your in has control of Coronavirus. Meaning bringing in restrictions. So running away is a bit of self defeatism.

Balance Sheet Employment 12/4/21

Business is used to making money. But a company that wants to take up a local council contract should think twice on how they are going to make their money. I work in a city that has outsourced some services. In the last round of Contracts small business’s have now filled the work of a large contractor. These small business’s may not survive because the room for maneuver is very small. The object I think is to make business think twice and to put people first and not profit. Services delivered will not make them anything but just to maintain the service.

Delivery in this small city is everything and the council see’s its duty to provide. But it has to outsource its service because there is no financial budget to maintain the service delivered by the council. Companies that have the right people and financial clout to do this thrive. But S,M,E’s do not and make the choice to try and make a go of things. But some times the contract is so tight that it cannot deliver. And the service then goes into freefall and has to be picked up by the council. It is time to bring these vital services back in house where the job of providing can be done by the council.
